Project and Task: The main goal was the development of a fully functional online store with maximally extended commercial functionality, oriented toward the B2B and B2C segments of the German market. Key emphasis was placed on the convenience of product selection and configuration, taking into account complex technical characteristics.
Our Solution:
Technology: The powerful and flexible CMS OpenCart was chosen for the realization of all requirements for the e-commerce site. This system allowed for the effective processing of a large number of SKUs (stock keeping units) and the integration of complex functionality.

- Extended Hierarchical Product Filter: Implementation of a multi-parameter filtering system that allows clients to quickly find the necessary product based on key criteria (price, brand, material).
- Product Configurator and Variations: Implementation of a detailed selection system that allows clients to choose products by size, color, as well as specific technical characteristics and modifications (e.g., tape length, barrier mechanism type).
- Related Products System (Cross-Sell/Upsell): Implementation of a “Similar Series” or “Related Products” mechanism that automatically suggests compatible accessories or similar models to the client, stimulating an increase in the average check.

Online Store Creation and Functional Setup of the INCAPCORP.DE E-commerce Platform
As part of this project, a multifunctional online store, INCAPCORP.DE, was successfully developed and launched on the OpenCart CMS platform for a German company specializing in infrastructure security equipment (barriers, bollards). The main focus was placed on implementing complex commercial functionality, ensuring maximum convenience for selecting technically complex goods.

Structure and Navigation Development
- Multifunctional Menu Implementation: Creation of a hierarchical menu (horizontal/drop-down) for easy navigation through a large number of categories, which is critical for the infrastructure security catalog.
- Category Creation and Structuring: Detailed design, implementation, and debugging of the structure of categories and subcategories for the effective placement of barriers, bollards, tapes, and related equipment.
Content and Localization
- Populating the Online Store with Products: Uploading the full product catalog, including images, detailed descriptions, technical specifications, and prices.
- Launch of the Bilingual Version (German and English): Setting up multilingualism and translating the entire interface, page content, and product descriptions to cover target markets.
Extended E-commerce Functionality (Filtering and Selection)
- Extended Hierarchical Product Filter: Implementation of a multi-parameter filtering system based on OpenCart characteristics. This allows clients to instantly find products by key criteria (price, brand, material, mechanism type).
- Product Configurator and Variations: Realization of a detailed selection system for complex goods. Clients can choose products by size, color, as well as specific technical characteristics and modifications (e.g., barrier drive type or bollard material).
- Related Products System (Cross-Sell/Upsell): Setup of the “Similar Series” or “Related Products” mechanism, which automatically suggests compatible accessories or similar models, increasing the average check.

- Cart and Checkout Setup: Optimization of the ordering process to minimize drop-offs and ensure purchase convenience.
- Payment and Delivery Methods Configuration: Integration of payment systems relevant to the German market and setting up delivery options.
- SEO Optimization (Basic Level): Configuration of SEO-Friendly URLs, meta tags, and descriptions for key categories and products to prepare the site for promotion.

- “Feedback” / “Price Request” Module: Implementation of feedback forms, which is important for the B2B segment (request for a large batch or an individual quote).

- B2B Pricing Setup (Customer Groups): Implementation of functionality for setting different price levels (wholesale, dealer, retail) depending on the client’s registration and belonging to a specific group (B2B/B2C).
- Integration with ERP/Inventory Accounting: Development and configuration of modules for automatic synchronization of the catalog, stock balances, and prices with the client’s internal accounting system.
- Implementation of EU/German Legal Requirements (DSGVO/GDPR Compliance): Configuration of the privacy policy, cookie management (Cookie Consent Banner), and personal data processing procedures in accordance with German legislation requirements (especially important for e-commerce in Germany).

Online Store Website Creation for the German company INCAPCORP is an example of maximally functional e-commerce development on the OpenCart platform, aimed at the highly competitive European market. The key to success lies in the deep adaptation of the standard platform to the specific needs of selling technically complex infrastructure security products.
The following were successfully implemented:
